There is no reason that your book review shouldn’t be published right now, by someone other than yourself. Expanding on Alle’s madly popular “Get Published” workshop, you will learn:
- how social media exponentially increases your chances of someone else publishing your work;
- how to contain time-sink when blogging/Tweeting/et al.;
- how to build readership; and
- the submission process—including the best venues for you to send to.
Each writer has a unique “best.” The Book Review encourages writers to deepen their curiosity about—and therefore their understanding of—a personal, evolving best.
Participants will leave understanding how today’s publishing works and with a plan for submitting at least one piece. Attendance at prior Get Published workshop not required.
